USA Today's Virtual Career Quest lets you explore the world of work now and in the future, utilizing stories from USA TODAY. Virtual Career Quest features online experts and interactive activities that can help a student decide which career to pursue.

Career Zone
CareerZone is a career exploration system for middle and high school students which provides information for 974 occupations from the new O*NET Database, the electronic replacement for the Dictionary of Occupational Titles.

Center for Occupational Research and Development
CORD is a national nonprofit organization providing innovative changes in education to prepare students for greater success in careers and higher education. Comprehensive research which is searchable. This is the largest educational research warehouse available online.

GEM: Gateway to Educational Materials: Career and Technical
There are several links to career and technical lesson plans under Educational Technology and Vocational Education.

High Schools that Work
High Schools That Work (HSTW) is a large-scale effort to engage state, district and school leaders and teachers in partnerships with students, parents and the community to improve the way all high school students are prepared for work and further education.
